Theophoros entstand 2008 im Auftrag von NEOS Brass und war ursprünglich für großes Blechbläserensemble und Schlagzeug instrumentiert. Ein Jahr später entstand die hier vorliegende Fassung für Fanfareorchester. Theophoros, ein griechisches Wort das übersetzt bedeutet inspiriert durch die Götter, besteht aus drei Teilen, von denen jeder einen Gott oder eine Göttin beschreiben.
