A flight over the Alps in spectacular style: at the beginning, the plane stands in all its splendour in the hanger. The pilot starts the propeller aircraft. The motor bursts into life after two failed attempts. Then the plane takes off: little by little the motor reaches full power, the plane rolls over the runway and slowly ascends into the air. After a wonderful flight over the Alps a thunderstorm begins. Rain comes, and with it thunder and lightning " suddenly the motor misfires. With the plane still gliding, the pilot manages to leave the storm behind and shortly afterwards is able to successfully restart the motor. A calm manner depicts the landscape refreshed and revitalised by the rain before the pilot heads home. The piece comes to an end with a triumphant finish.
