This melodious march is of Danish origin. Ricard Lindebro (1903-1972) was a musical police officer. He was a pioneer in teaching traffic safety to children and had two radio programs about children and traffic at the danish Radio. He was also a drummer an a pianist and wrote five marches, among which 'Amalienborg' and 'Dansk Politis Honnormarch'. His popular march 'Diciplin' (1928) got famous in several European countries. Gosling Mol made an arrangement for symphonic and fanfare band and so this splendid march got into the Molenaar Edition series 'Marstriomfen' (Famous Marches) as number 73.

Dieser melodische Marsch kommt aus Dänemark. Ricard Lindebro (1903-1972) war ein musikalischer Polizist. Er war ein wahrhafter Pionier hinsichtlich der Verkehrsausbildung der Kinder; so machte er zwei Reihen von Verkehrsprogrammen im dänischen Rundfunk. Er war Schlagzeuger und Pianist und schrieb etwa fünf Märsche unter denen 'Amalienborg' und 'Dansk Politis Honnormarch'. Sein bekannter Marsch 'Diciplin' (Disziplin) aus 1928 war ganz erfolgreich in verschiedenen europäischen Ländern. Gosling Mol schrieb dieses Arrangement für Blasorchester und der Marsch wurde in dieser Form als Nummer 73 in der Reihe 'Marstriomfen' (Marschtriumphe) bei Molenaar Edition verlegt.
