Met deze traditionele loopmars wil Robert Allmend (Amsterdam, 1939) een hulde aan Europa brengen. De mars is klassiek van bouw en is bijzonder goed geschikt als stap- of defileermars. Vooral de vlotte melodie van de trio, met leuke piccoloversiering bij de herhaling, zal het zeer goed bij muzikanten en luisteraars doen.

With this traditional marching tune the Dutch composer Robert Allmend (Amsterdam, 1939) wants to pay a tribute to Europe. The march has got a traditional structure and is most suitable as parade march. The pleasant melody of the trio in particular, with a striking piccolo flute part the second time, will appeal both to the musicians and the public.

Au moyen de cette marche traditionnelle, le compositeur néerlandais Robert Allmend (Amsterdam, 1939) veut rendre hommage à l'Europe. Cette marche a une structure classique et se prête très bien aux parades et défilés. Mit diesem traditionellen Marsch will der niederländische Komponist Robert Allmend (Amsterdam, 1939) Europa eine Huldigung darbringen. Der Marsch hat eine klassische Struktur und ist besonders zum Defilieren geeignet. Besonders die schöne Melodie des Trios mit der hübschen Verzierung von der Pikkoloflöte bei der Wiederholung wird von Musikern und Zuhörern sehr geliebt sein.
