Brian Belski Arrangeur

Brian D. Belski is the Director of Bands at Savanna High School in Anaheim, CA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from UCLA, a teaching credential from CSU Long Beach, and a Master’s degree in Conducting from the American Band College at Southern Oregon University.

He prepares 7 different student ensembles for over 45 performances annually and are often rated “Superior” at adjudicated festivals. The Savanna HS Wind Ensemble has received superior ratings for 7 consecutive years while playing high school and collegiate level music literature. The 180-member Mighty Marching Rebel Band is a 2-time Bands of America Regional finalist and won the 2009 Southern California (SCSBOA) 5A Marching Band Championship.

Mr. Belski’s ensembles have performed at the Rose Bowl, Disneyland, Angel Stadium, the Arrowhead Pond (with Shania Twain), and the Reno Jazz Festival as well as at corporate events for Disney, Mattel, Goodyear, Wells Fargo, the City of Anaheim, and Pepsi. In December, 2009, the band performed on national television at the Honda Center in Anaheim as the house band for the annual John Wooden Classic college basketball tournament.

He is also active as a composer, arranger, and professional performer on tuba, trombone and bass and serves as an adjudicator for wind ensembles and marching bands throughout the western United States. Mr. Belski recently served 2-years as an elected Vice President of the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association (SCSBOA).

Mr. Belski enjoys travel, camping, boating, running, bicycling, & college football and basketball. He lives with his beautiful wife, Sarah, in Irvine, California.
