Molenaar Edition asked arranger Geert Schrijvers to write a transciption of 'The Planets' by Gustav Holst. The suite has a duration of 50 minutes and every part describes one of the seven planets known in the time of Holst. This CD brings a live recording of the premiere performance of 'The Planets' as well as a wonderfull transcription of Tchaikovsky's 'Romeo and Juliet'.
