Les auteurs de ce receuil étaient les membres du jury lors du 4ème Concours International de Percussion Luxembourg en 1999 dans le Grand- Duché de Luxembourg. Sur la proposition de Siegfried Fink, les compositions ici présentées ont été écrites sous l'impression des performances excellentes des participants au concours. Le niveau technique des ?uvres est élevé et elles offrent aux joueurs de timbales avancés des possibilités d'expression multiples.
