"Memo" is a theatrical solo for a violinist using a small tape recorder on the stage. Following the detailed instructions in the score, the performer records certain passages played by him- or herself "live" and plays them, again following the detailed instructions, in the style of a backing track - a dialogue between the reproduction of the past and "I" emotions here and now.

Il s'agit, dans " memo ", d'un solo théâtral pour un(e) violoniste. Il (ou elle) utilise sur scène un petit magnétophone à cassette et enregistre certains passages en direct, suivant en cela les indications précises de la partition. Ceux-ci sont repassés plus tard comme un backing track, toujours exactement noté - dialogue entre la reproduction du passé et la mobilité du 'moi' dans le présent.
