Christus factus est - Graduale

Christus factus est - Graduale Anton Bruckner / Arr. Thomas Doss

Thomas Doss has created this inspiring and easily playable arrangement for wind orchestra of the motet Christus factus est (WAB 11) written by Bruckner in 1884. After the Mass for Maundy Thursday from 1844 and a motet for eight-part mixed choir, three trombones and string instruments ad libitum from 1873, this was Bruckner's third setting of the Latin gradual of the same name (Gregorian chant). The influence of Wagner is unmistakable.
