This piece is based on the beautiful and long-drawn-out melody from composer Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons". Steve Cortland gave it a contemporary touch, making the piece feel topical, thus earning its place in the contemporary music repertoire.

Dit werk is gebaseerd op de mooie en lang opgebouwde melodie uit de "De Vier Jaargetijden" van componist Antonio Vivaldi. Steve Cortland stak dit thema in een hedendaags kleedje waardoor het werk zeer actueel aanvoelt en eveneens een plaats verdiend in het hedendaags muziekrepertoire.

Cette oeuvre est basée sur la mélodie belle et longue de "Les Quatre Saisons" du compositeur Antonio Vivaldi. Steve Cortland a arrangé ce thème. C'est pourquoi l'oeuvre paraît très actuelle et mérite également une place dans le répertoire de la musique actuelle.

Dieses Stück basiert auf einen wunderschönen Melodie aus "Die Vier Jahreszeiten" von Komponist Antonio Vivaldi. Steve Cortland gab dieser Melodie einen zeitgenössischen Anstrich.
