The four-movement composition is reminiscent of the refined chamber music works of French modernism scored for a mixture of winds and strings, yet integrates a proletarian accordion instead of pleasant harp sounds. All five instruments are played in a highly virtuoso manner and with alternating solo roles. Der Standard called the work, which was commissioned by Klangspuren Schwaz and premiered by the ensemble Wiener Collage in 2006, 'densely written, mediating between ethereal gliding and pulsating excitement'.

Cette composition en quatre mouvements rappelle les pièces raffinées avec bois et cordes de musique de chambre du Modernisme français, mais y intègre aussi, à la place d'une élégante sonorité de harpe, un accordéon plus prolétaire. Les cinq instruments ont chacun un rôle de soliste virtuose. Le Standard a qualifié l'uvre de « intense, partagée entre glissements éthérés et agitation pulsative ». Commandée par le festival Klangspuren Schwaz, la pièce fut baptisée par l'Ensemble Wiener Collage en 2006.
