The suite for symphonic wind orchestra stretches the musicians to the limit. The first part begins in the horn section with a lyrical melody, which is then taken over by the entire orchestra and ends in a kind of "anarchistic entry". The second part begins with a transparently orchestrated polyphonic net, which slowly changes into a varied wave-like movement, which ends abruptly to begin the third part "attaca". The third part is a delicate Adagio con tenerezza. The finale is extremely wild and virtuosic. It is the musical expression of anger, fear and disappointment.
