It is sometimes said that in the past centuries there was no tradition in composing with respect to original works for windband. This work proves the contrary in a brilliant orchestration by Désiré Dondeyne.

Ce morceau nous montre qu'il serait injuste de prétendre qu'il n'y avait pas de tradition dans la composition de musique originale pour orchestre d'harmonie en France. L'instrumentation moderne de Désiré Dondeyne est sublime.
