Concerto G major

It is assumed Giuseppe Torti was born in Milan and lived during the 18th century. In this case, 'Concerto' is a rather misleading term as the piece really is a quartet. The interesting composition uses the concept of a concerto in Vivaldi's tradition: chamber music with solo part. The first flute takes over the lead. The piece consists of three movements and is well-suited both for music instruction and concert events.

Concerto en sol majeur

Né probablement à Milan, le compositeur Giuseppe Torti vivait au milieu du 18ème siècle. Il ne s'agit ici d'un concerto au sens propre, mais d'un quatuor. La pièce porte la désignation de 'concerto' dans la tradition de Vivaldi: musique de chambre avec 'solo'. La première flûte joue le rôle dominant. C'est une pièce en trois mouvements qui se prête très bien à l'enseignement et aux concerts.
