The Second Suite in F (Opus 28 No. 2 for Military Band), written in 1911, is based on seven British folk tunes distributed across the four movements that comprise the composition.
In honor of the 150th anniversary of Gustav Holst's birth (1874-1934), Lorenzo Pusceddu has curated this arrangement with the aim of making it playable even for small band ensembles. The idea stems from the premise that pieces of this caliber can be beneficial to the growth of bands due to their importance in the history of band repertoire as well as their undeniable musical quality.

Zu Ehren des 150. Geburtstages von Gustav Holst (1874-1934) hat Lorenzo Pusceddu dieses Arrangement mit dem Ziel zusammengestellt, es auch für kleine Bandbesetzungen spielbar zu machen. Die Idee beruht auf der Annahme, dass Stücke dieses Kalibers aufgrund ihrer Bedeutung in der Geschichte des Bandrepertoires und ihrer unbestreitbaren musikalischen Qualität für die Entwicklung von Bands von Nutzen sein können.
