Alone Awake has been a Norwegian classic for years. This 1979 release is one of the greatest successes of Norwegian singer/songwriter Jan Eggum. The lyrics are timeless and the beautiful melody shows Eggum at his best. This arrangement in our Flex 7 Soloist series allows almost all kinds of wind instruments to be in the soloist spotlight. The accompaniment can be played by as few as seven performers but also by a full brass or concert band.
