Bodenständiger traditioneller Blues in mittlerem Tempo. Ein mittelschneller swingender Blues, der mit einer kurzen Vamp-Figur beginnt. Das Thema wird kontrapunktisch durchgeführt und mündet in die erste Ensemble-Figur, die quasi das Bass-Solo verabschiedet. Ähnliches Ensemble-Material wird dann verwendet, um das Altsolo zu verabschieden (optionale ausgeschriebene Soli für beide Solisten liegen bei). Der einleitende Vamp wird dann für das Schlussensemble verwendet, bevor das Thema wiederaufgenommen wird.

Medium Blues in the down-home tradition. A medium swinging blues that opens with a short vamp figure. The theme is stated contrapuntally leading to the first ensemble figure which is a send-off to the bass solo. Similar ensemble material is then used as a send-off for the alto solo (optional written solos are provided for both soloists). The opening vamp material is then used for the final ensemble before the restatement of the theme.
