The book presented here unites pieces from works for lute and harpsichord as well as sonatas and suites for violin and violoncello solo. The main source was the Notebook of Anna Magdalena Bach. This volume provides advanced guitar students with a thoroughly edited note text. In addition to a few hits from the Bach repertoire, it also includes compositions that are less known. A valuable collection for musical instruction with 24 pieces, also suited as an introduction into Bach's oeuvre; and a preliminary stage to the suites for violoncello solo which Gerd-Michael Dausend edited and rearranged excellently for the guitar. All of them have been published by Zimmermann (ZZM 27310 - 27360).

Les morceaux présentés ici n'ont pas été ordonnés selon leur difficulté. Le choix a été fait parmi les ?uvres pour luth, les sonates et les suites pour violon ou pour violoncelle ainsi que parmi les ?uvres pour clavecin, choisies en majorité dans le Petit Livre d'Anna Magdalena Bach. Le recueil offre à l'élève avancé un texte édité avec soin se basant sur la nouvelle édition de Bach. Il contient, a côté de certains succès du répertoire de Bach, des pièces moins connues du cantor de Saint-Thomas. Il s'agit d'une sélection précieuse pour l'enseignement, pouvant servir d'approche aux ?uvres de Bach. Les pièces se prêtent également comme préparation aux Suites pour violoncelle arrangées pour la guitare et éditées par Gerd-Michael Dausend (ZZM 27310 à ZZM 27360).
