[EN]The title itself is a double-entendre which in one sense is referring to the person this work is dedicated to as in one life that was beautifully lived. The other sense is a direct observation concluding that having only one life is what makes life so sacred, tragic and so very precious. This is an impressionistic work musically describing that condition. Shakespeares sweet sorrow, the frailty and strength of life, the meaning of what it is to truly live One Life Beautiful.


[DE]Der Titel selbst ist eine Doppeldeutigkeit, die sich in gewisser Weise auf die Person bezieht, der dieses Werk gewidmet ist, wie in einem wunderschön gelebten Leben. Der andere Sinn ist eine direkte Beobachtung, die zu dem Schluss kommt, dass nur ein Leben zu haben das ist, was das Leben so heilig, tragisch und so sehr kostbar macht. Dies ist ein impressionistisches Werk, das diesen Zustand musikalisch beschreibt. Shakespeares süßer Kummer, die Zerbrechlichkeit und Stärke des Lebens, die Bedeutung dessen, was es bedeutet, wirklich ein schönes Leben zu leben.
