Sarcophagus is a depiction of the dances of the immortals who are not bound by the confines of their tombs. The graveyard comes to life as the corpses begin to reanimate and dance, defiant in their new-found freedom. Whispers and chants from burial ceremonies replay through the scene as the corpses refuse to be contained.

The Percussion 4 part can be be doubled as the conductor sees fit to allow more students to participate.
