Het stuk 'Romantic Mood' is een ballade voor solo-hoorn. Na een orkestrale inleiding volgt een bijzonder mooi en dromerig thema door de solist. Na het tweede thema met ondersteuning van de houten blaasinstrumenten, volgt een compleeet orkest dat door onderbrekingen van de solo-hoorn luchtiger gemaakt wordt.
