Een documentaire over de Rocky Mountains inspireerde Patrick Millstone tot het schrijven van dit werk. De grootsheid ervan wordt weergegeven door de regelmatig terugkerende octaafsprong. Prachtige natuurschoon met fraaie vergezichten, alles komt muzikaal aan bod in deze afwisselende compositie. Een aanwinst voor met name de lagere afdelingen.

A documentary film about the Rocky Mountains inspired Patrick Millstone to write this piece. The majesty of this natural site is described by a regularly repeated octave leap. The splendour of nature with its beautiful views is superbly well rendered in this varied composition. This piece is quite an asset for bands of the lower divisions.
