These pieces, originally written for violoncello (violin), can be arranged for the clarinet without difficulty due to their simplicity and song-like structure. Korody-Kreutzer mainly kept the original piano part and just made slight adaptations here and there for the clarinet whereas the musical material, which already seemed to have been composed specifically for the clarinet, could be taken over unmodified. These pieces are comparatively easy and suited for a first contact with the well-known composer who never wrote anything specifically for the solo clarinet.

Cinq morceaux en style populaire op. 102

La simplicité et la forme apte au chant des morceaux originellement écrits pour violoncelle (violon) autorisent une multiplicité de réalisations sonores. Partant de la version originale pour piano, Korody-Kreutzer n'a entrepris que quelques adaptations à la clarinette, l'écriture déjà en grande partie typique de la clarinette est restée inchangée. Les morceaux sont relativement faciles et donc appropriés à la première approche des ?uvres du compositeur célèbre qui n'a pas écrit de composition originale pour clarinette solo.
