Cette composition comprend deux mouvements: le premier mouvement ?Lament? est conçu pour 4 timbales, celles-ci sont complétées dans le deuxième mouvement Recitative? par 3 tomtoms, 5 tempelblocks, 1 cymbales, 1 hihat et 1 tamtam. La présente ?uvre unit une technique de composition assurée avec beaucoup de créativité, une diversité rythmique et une ample sonorité. L'exécutant devrait maîtriser bien le rythme et la technique de jeu ainsi que disposer d'un haut degré d'intuition musicale. Par conséquent ce volume s'adresse en premier lieur au musicien avancé et expérimenté.
