CMYK Thomas Asanger
Original
The abbreviation CMYK refers to a colour pattern which is the technical base for all modern four-colour printing. It refers to the three colours, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, plus black, that combine to create depth and variety of colours. In real life, the appearance of CMYK colors differ according to the type of appliance and surface used, and so CMYK colour profiles are necessary to accurately describe the colour tones. Those colour profiles are a kind of art code which precisely define the different colour components. Composer Thomas Asanger, himself a graphic artist, has chosen the CMYK colour pattern as the inspiration for this new composition.
