The title of this piece is derived from the Japanese word Mokuyo' meaning Thursday. This sparkling and brilliant concert march was commissioned by the symphonic band from Shiga, Japan with the name of Mokuyo-gumi'. Of course, you can play this march any day of the week.

Marche pour un jeudi. Le titre de cette pièce trouve son origine dans le mot japonais Mokuyo » qui signifie « jeudi ». Cette brillante marche de concert a été composée à la demande de l'orchestre d'harmonie de Shiga au Japon qui porte le nom de « Mokuyo-gumi ». On peut, bien sûr, jouer cette marche n'importe quel jour de la semaine.

De titel van dit werk vindt zijn basis in het Japanse woord Mokuyo' dat donderdag' betekent. Deze schitterende, sprankelende concertmars werd gecomponeerd in opdracht van het harmonie-orkest uit Shiga, Japan genaamd Mokuyo-gumi. Deze mars is vanzelfsprekend geschikt om elke dag gespeeld te worden.
