[NO]«Be Thou My Vision» er den første religiøse tonen fra Irland vi kjenner som ble brukt i Norge. Den norske tittelen er «Deg å få skode» og er fra 1985 tatt med i Norsk salmebok.
Salmen innledet en bredere interesse for irsk fromhetsliv og musikktradisjon i norsk kirkeliv. Den ble senere gjendiktet til bokmål av Eivind Skeie, og fremført av Hanne Krogh på hennes plate Vestavind (1998).
Melodien er den samme som er brukt i den svenske popballaden «Gå inte förbi», spilt inn av Peter Jöback og Sissel Kyrkjebø i 2003.
Dette arrangementet er en duett for alt- og tenor saxofon.
