Tea for Two - Ensemble Vincent Youmans / Arr. Wil van der Beek
6 Part Ensemble
Tea for Two is a 1924 song by American Broadway composer Vincent Youmans. This piece became famous when it was included in the hit musical No, no Nanette. The song became even more famous because of the following: in 1927, Dmitri Shostakovich bet a friend 100 rubles after listening to it that he could orchestrate the song by heart in an hour. Shostakovich won and finished the complete score in 45 minutes. It became his opus 16 with the title Tahiti Trot.
