This title is a reissue of the same composition of 1965. There is no key signature and accidentals are written throughout. The meter signature is 4/4 with the quarter note equal to 120 to 126 beats per minute. The alto saxophone section has a solo. A full performance CD of this title, as well as others, is included.
This is one of Vittorio Giannini's five major works for symphonic band. Dedication Overture reflects the deeply imbedded romanticism and beautiful grace of melodic line that are trademarks of this composer.
