These songs, which for the most part are of traditional Japanese origin, show Wil Offermans was inspired by the landscape of the island of Kyushu, far away from the hectic Western pace. At the same time, by using a synthesizer, he tries to form a connection between tradition and modern times - a subjet widely spread in Japan. Typical for all pieces is both the sound language of the East as well as their meditating character.

En écrivant ces chansons (pour la plupart d'origine traditionnelle japonaise) Wil Offermans s'est laissé inspirer par le paysage de l'Ile de Kyûshû, loin de la hâte occidentale. En même temps, il essaie de lier, à travers de la technique du synthétiseur, la tradition et le moderne, un sujet très important au Japon. Les pièces se caractérisent par leur sonorité de l'Extrême-Orient et leur caractère méditatif.
