Ad Lamerigts arranger

Ad Lamerigts ( * 11. April 1957 in Santfort (bei Ittervoort) ) is a Dutch Saxophonist and Conductor .
As a boy, Lamerigts came into contact with classical music through gramophone records. Through his father Sjaak Lamerigts, tenor saxophonist with Fanfare Concordia in Ittervoort, he came into contact with the saxophone. He studied music education and saxophone at the Maastricht Conservatory. In 1987 he obtained his certificate teaching musician saxophone at the Hogeschool Katholieke Leergangen Tilburg.

Lamerigts worked from 1982 to 1995 as a music teacher at the Oranjeschool in Aalten. Nowadays he works at the Broekhin Jenaplanschool in Swalmen. From 1975 to 2012 he also taught at the music school of the Kreato Foundation in Thorn. Lamerigts started a music publishing company in 2011 under the name ArtifexMusic, which focuses mainly on innovative work for the wind music sector.

As a conductor he is self-taught and since 2000 he has been conducting the Koninklijke Harmonie "Juliana" , Sint Odiliënberg. Before that he was conductor of, among others, the Harmonie "Crescendo", Beegden (1982-1996), the Philharmonie Sittard (1996-2003) and Fanfare de Eendracht from Neer (2009-2013).
