After completing his degree in humanities, Alessandro Celardi earned degrees in piano, composition, instrumentation for wind ensemble and the two-year specialty degree in Instrumentation and Wind Band Conducting at the conservatories of music ''L. Refice'' in Frosinone and ''G. B. Martini'' in Bologna. He studied conducting with Jo Conjaerts. Since 2009, he has been leading the Wind Orchestra ''Città di Ferentino'' with which he won prestigious awards at international contests such as ''Flicorno d'Oro'' in Riva del Garda (Trento, Italy) and ''WMC'' in Kerkrade (The Netherlands) receiving special mentions for his conducting. He collaborated as director, arranger, and composer with various artists and ensembles, including Antonella Ruggiero, Hamii Stewart, Enzo De Caro, Raffaello Simeoni, Ensemble Micrologus, the duos Chiapperino-Tamburri and ''Musica Nuda'' (Ferruccio Spinetti and Petra Magoni), Vanessa Gravina, the Corciano Festival Orchestra, the ''Fanfara Legione Allievi Carabinieri'' of Rome, and the Wind Orchestra ''Liceo A. Rosmini'' of Rovereto. He is majorly contributing to the promotion of the original repertory for wind band both as a conductor and as an editor of important Italian compositions of the nineteenth century.
