Bruce Preuninger composer / arranger
date of birth: 15.05.1947
Bruce Preuninger completed undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University with a degree in Music Education and graduate studies at Gonzaga University, where he received a Master of Arts in Administration and Curriculum with emphasis on K-12 Music Curriculum Development. He taught instrumental music in the public school system for 36 years, first in Bellevue, Washington and then in the East Valley School District of Spokane, Washington. He retired from full-time teaching at the end of the 2004-2005 school year. His compositions for band have been published by Alfred since 1999, and many can be found on state and international contest and festival lists.
