geb. in St. Ulrich, Gröden, Südtirol, 26. April 1944. Er lebte seit 1967 in Berlin, wo er als Studioassistent begann und bald Popsongs schrieb und sang. 1971 gründete er in München mit "Musicland" seine eigene Produktionsfirma. 1980 erfolgte die Übersiedlung nach Los Angeles, wo er nach einem kurzen Zwischenaufenthalt 1981 bis 1983 in New York sich ständig niederließ und vor allem für den Film arbeitete.
