Hilmar Francis Luckhardt ( Chicago , March 13, 1913 Madison , July 8, 1984) was an American composer , music educator and flautist . For certain works he used the pseudonym : Daniel de Mauvaise-Chauce . He was the eldest of three children of the couple Arno Benedict Luckhardt (1885-1957) and Luella Catherine LaBolle.
