Jodi Malone & L.C. Harnsberger

Jodi Malone is a native of Philadelphia, PA and studied trumpet privately with Carmine Caruso and at California State University, Los Angeles. A frequent performer, she has played with the Los Angeles Baroque Orchestra, The Burbank Symphony, the La Miranda Symphony Orchestra and the Trio of Eleven and Sierra Madre Brass Ensemble. Ms. Malone's published works include (with L.C. Harnsberger) "Batter up!", and a band arrangement of "Take me out to the Ballgame" which was recently put into the Baseball Hall of Fame (music division) in Cooperstown, New York. Her other works include the publication "Karaoke, the complete Guide".
L.C. Harnsberger received his B.M. in composition from the University of Southern California. Since finishing school, he has been writing and arranged for local ensembles, including the San Gabriel Valley Concert Band, Foothills Middle School, the Viklarbo Quartet, The Pacafic Composers Forum and the La Mirada Symphony. His "Sonata for Solo Guitar" is available on CD in a performance by Scott Johnston. Mr. Harnsberger's published works for Alfred Publishing include "The Essential Dictionary of Music", A Day at the Races", (a medley for band of "horse-related tunes), and (with Jodi Malone) "Batter Up!" Mr. Harnsberger's orchestration work includes commercials for Acura, Avia and Footjoy, as well as the award-winning film "Inside Monkey Zetterland".
