*Oslo, 3. September 1915. Er zählte zum Schülerkreis des Organisten A. Sandvolk in Oslo und von E. White in New York. 1947 unterrichtete ihn A. Copland. 1946 bis 1982 erfüllte er den Organistendienst an der Thorshov-Kirche in Oslo, 1964 bis 1985 leitete er die Chorausbildung an der Universität in Oslo.
