Born in Valencia in 1975. He began his musical studies at the Music School of the Musical Society "La Paz" of Siete Aguas. He studied intermediate level at the "San Rafael" Professional Conservatory of Music in Buñol, with the teachers José Vicente Herrera and Francisco Lara, and advanced studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, with José Vicente Peñarrocha.
As an instrumentalist, he received clarinet lessons from Modesto Escribano and Enrique Pérez Piquer. He took advanced courses with José Tomás Pérez, Norbert Kaiser and Béla Kovács. He has collaborated with various orchestras in Spain and Europe, including the "Luigi Boccherini" Chamber Orchestra, Academia Santa Cecilia, Compañía Lírica Siglo XXI, Symphony Orchestra of the Polytechnic University of Prague (Czech Republic), Clásica de Madrid and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Madrid. He has been a member of the Banda de Música de la Comunidad Valenciana, Orquesta Sinfónica de Chamartín, Orquesta Sinfónica del Festival de Ópera Vía Magna, Sinfónica Pro-Naciones Unidas and Orquesta Filarmonía, with which he made most of the recordings of the RTVE programme "El Conciertazo", presented by Fernando Argenta. In 1999, he obtained the post of clarinet in the Music Band of the Regiment "Inmemorial del Rey" no. 1, in Madrid. In 2001 he was awarded the 2nd Prize and Scroll of Honour in the IV Concurso de Jóvenes Intérpretes "Villa de Albuixech" (Valencia).
