Yorick De Bruycker arranger
After he finished his studies at the music academy of Arlon, he entered the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette (L) on concert flute. At the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette he will obtain his degrees in instrumentation, orchestration, pedagogy, methodology and concert flute. He will enrich his formation by collaborating with different flutist, for instance in the Luxembourg. Yorick is laureate of the Horlait-Daspens Foundations scholarship and also of the European competition in Luxembourg. He obtained a prize at the Sinfionietta in Brussels, a first prize at the Dexia Classic competition, a gold medal Luxembourgish competition for young soloists and the second prize for the Laureate competition of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. This last prize will give him the opportunity to participate at the Académia Belgica in Rome. He has played with the Youth Orchestra of the Greater Region, the Brussels Chamber Orchestra, the Summer Orchestra Luxembourg, the Belgian National Orchestra, the Luxembourg Military Music band, the Luxembourg Philharmonics and he plays second chair on concert flute at the Luxembourg Wind Orchestra. Yorick teaches concert flute at the different music schools from the UGDA (L) and he is also teacher at the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette (L).
