C. Alan Publications was founded in 1989 by pedagogue and recovering percussionist/band director Cort McClaren. With humble beginnings as a publisher of high-level percussion literature, C. Alan quickly expanded into the worlds of band literature, chamber music, and orchestral music. Regardless of the genre, C.
