RG Editions is a series designed for performers by a performer. Combining the practical with the scholarly, RG Editions aims to publish faithful and affordable editions of 17th and 18th century music. The series works from first editions and, when available, autograph manuscripts, to provide performers with accurate, unfussy and legible versions of unavailable or undeservedly neglected music. Editorial interference is kept to a minimum. All editorial decisions are noted in the critical commentary at the back of each publication. Professionals and amateurs alike will appreciate the detailed attention given to layout, page-turns and overall clarity.
